About Me

I was raised in a military family with three sisters. We grew up traveling in Europe, and I am incredibly privileged to get to say that. I first got into photography so that I could remember all the places we had been. I couldn't stand just having all these experiences rattling around in my brain, I wanted to capture them in a picture so I never took my privilege for granted.

Taking photos of people become a passion of mine when I began shooting street photography while traveling. There is so much that can be said and seen about life in a single photo. It's incredibly important to me to give people images that I am proud to say I took. Photos that give them a glimpse of their own life through the eyes of another. Photos of their children that they can show to everyone they meet and say, "See this? I love it when they smile like that."
